IMED Foundation prepared a Mobile application which empowers learners to develop attitude, knowledge, values and skills required to engage in sustainable business activities. The App is prepared as a self-study resource and guide; It is organized into 9 modules, addressing one or a combination of the objectives. The modules are organized logically, starting with the most basic and concluding with the business plan, which integrates everything else in the manual to a coherent single document. Learners are encouraged to be creative and innovative and to adopt ICT. Each module concludes with opportunities for the use of ICT. IMED Foundation prepared this app in a simple language where learners can choose either to use Kiswahili or English and after each Module, learners are provided with tests which are automatically marked and score given after completion of the same.
The materials have been prepared in line with the National Entrepreneurship Training Framework (NETF) prepared by the government of Tanzania under the coordination of the National Economic Empowerment Council (NEEC).
